Asset Types

When creating Assets the type data controls the use of Inventory and Supplier data when dealing with this type of asset.

Useful for reporting purposes.

Use the icon to add a new Asset Type or the icon to edit an item.

The Item Menu will allow you to delete an entry in the list unless this item is used in other data.

Code

Your code for this Asset Type (unique).

Name

Description of the Asset Type.

Inventory

Toggle to control if this type of asset is based on an inventory code item. For example its an individual serial numbered instance of the item.

Supplier

Toggle to control if this type of asset has a specific supplier. This will force a supplier to be chosen when creating the asset.
