Task List
The Task List provides a central place to view and control Tasks within Duet.
Task List is available from the System Menu as any users who only have Provider rights (they are not Service Ticket Controllers) do not see the full Service menu.
When using the task list it is important to understand the settings in Task Types
The settings in task types will affect the Task Status and Item Menu views in the task list. The label and appearance for some task may also differ.
For Example, If if you turn off the Open Requirement, then the Open state will be skipped. If Open is required, it may be set as Travel or Preparation and would therefore be labeled as such.
The task list is grouped into sections based on the current status of the task in its progress to completion.
The icon will expand a branch within the ticket list.
The icon will collapse a branch within the ticket list.
Creating and editing a Service Task
Use the icon to add a new Task and the icon will open an existing Task.
Task List
Tasks can have the following status codes. These form the grouping sections seen in this list.
- Raised - task has been raised but not actioned yet
- Allocated - task allocated to a controller
- Scheduled - task scheduled to a user
- Open Started - (may be Travel or Preparation)
- Open Completed - (may be Travel or Preparation)
- Work Completed - task work completed
- Cancelled - task cancelled
Task List Action Menu
The Action Menu menu options available are as follows :

- Requery - refresh the view as other users may be updating tasks.
- Show tasks created by you (the user logged in)
- Show tasks allocated to you (the user logged in)
- Show (Include) completed tasks in this view
- Show (Include) closed tasks in this view
Task Items Menu
From within the Task List you can examine and control task with the Item Menu.
You can also use the icon to open the task itself.
The Item Menu menu options available are as follows :
visibility of item menu options are dependent on the status of the task being viewed at this point.
View
Opens the Task View for this. Your editing rights will depend on the status of the tasks progress at this point.
Comments
Comments view and create comment information relating to this task.
Attachments
Supporting documents (e.g. images or PDF files) attached to the task.
Cancel Task
A task can be canceled provided is has not progressed past certain points. You will be able to enter a note on why the task was canceled.
Allocate Task
Using the icon you can Allocatecontrol of this task to a single, or range of users nominated as ticket controllers.
Schedule Task (Quick Schedule)
If you already know who you wish to schedule the task to, use this form to select the user(s) and assign date and times required and save.
Note -This option offers a simple and quick choice of users but does not show their existing schedules or Calendar details
Task Scheduler
You can use the Task Scheduler tool to select users to work on this task, The tool provides useful data including distance, current workload and availability. This view incorporates the Calendar data.
Expenses
You can view a list of all expenses that have been recorded against this task ID.
Requisitions
You can view a list of all requisitions that have been recorded against this task ID.
Events
You can view a list of all events that have been recorded against this task ID.
Pre-Task Surveys
Post-Task Survey
Assets
Displays a list of any Assets related to this task ID.
Complete Work
Mark this task as completed.
