Locations

The Locations option is used to maintain details of locations and addresses that can be used throughout the system.

Examples of places that locations are used are in Supplier records and Requisitions.

Each location can be geocoded using both standard coordinates and the What3Words system.

A location can be repeated if you have several 'Contacts' at the same location, for example a contact for both Sales and Service Departments.

You can open a location record using the icon in the list.

Location and Postal Address Section

Name

The name for this location, eg. Company Name

Type

Use the > icon to select a Public, Private or a location within your organisiation eg. a warehouse location.

Service Area

Service area associated with this location. Use the icon to select from a list.

Postal Address

Enter the postal address for this location. Country can be selected from the icon

Contact, Geo Tag and Sublocations Section

Contact Information

Enter the contact name (can include title), email and telephone details.

Geo Tagging Section

Latitude

The latitude coorodinate of the address.

Longitude

The longitude coorodinate of the address.

What3Words

The What3Words reference for the address.

Tapping the map icon next to the What3Words values will open a map link of the location:

Sublocations

You can add sublocations to this record, eg. A warehouse or building. You can view sublocations in the list with the icon or add new ones with the + icon.

Assets Section

Any assets registered at this location will be listed here. You can view assets in the list with the icon or add new ones with the + icon.

Address records can be uploaded into Duet from a CSV file:
