Notifications
The Notifications option displays notifications of events across all the Duet modules that may require your attention.
Examples of such events are:
- One of your timesheets has been Approved or Queried.
- One of your expense claims has been Approved or Declined.
- One of your requisitions has been Costed, Approved, Declined or Fulfilled.
- A service ticket has been raised
- A service task has been allocated to you
- Another user has commented on one of your service tickets, timesheets, expense claims or requisitions, for example to request further information.
- You are required to perform an action, for example:
- approve a timesheet, expense claim or requisition
- cost or fulfil a requisition
Selecting the icon against the item will directly open the relevant option to which the notification relates, e.g.:
- Opening a notification relating to a service ticker, service task, timesheet, expense claim or requisition will open that item
- Opening a notification that is requesting that you perform an action, such as approve another user's expense claim, will open the approval view for that item
Selecting the icon against the item will clear the notification. By default, only uncleared notifications are displayed in the Notifications view.
Performing certain actions (e.g. re-submitting a Queried timesheet or responding to a comment) will result in a notification being sent to the user(s) concerned.
